This inn is a jewel! Awesome area, extensive rooms, free bites, and above all, astonishing help. My whole involvement with this lodging was extraordinary. The room was largely spotless, and the restroom was perfect too. The view from up above was stunning. I can see the whole city. The city lights around evening time were interesting.

I have to agree with some of the other google one of the best parts of the hotel was Eric. He helped bring our stuff into our room and get us ice. He was very courteous and helped us with all our needs. I got a nice room with a view which I loved as well as a very spacious and accommodating room. What I do not appreciate was the rudeness of the bartender at the restaurant. Poor poor service at the restaurant which is disappointing because besides that my stay was great.

Love this hotel! Clean rooms and cool design! The pool was great, and they did an outdoor movie at night. They had games out (football, etc.) to play. Beautiful views, and nice to walk around (right up the street from The Brady Bunch house). Grocery store (Ralph's) near by, and really close to Universal Studios. Restaurant is pricey, but worth the money, best breakfast buffet I've ever had!! We would definitely stay here again!!

We reserved this place so that we can walk to Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo with 2 toddlers and my pregnant wife. There was a few things that made the stay a little less pleasant. They have valet parking but do not reserve it for guests, anyone can bring their vehicles in. It would be nice on busy days like New Years to have exclusive parking. One of the elevators didn't work, there's long lines to wait to get up to your room. The front desk staff just gave me my key. I had to ask if they had a restaurant, there is. I had to keep asking, where is it? Is it open tomorrow? Is the downstairs cafe open tomorrow? Only short answers. I think they would have been friendlier to my Japanese wife. I felt rushed and checked behind me, nobody was in line. The room was clean, view was nice. Everything is older but mostly well kept.

We were so lucky to have found this gem in the middle of LA. So quiet, so intimate all inclusive facility. We didn't have to go anywhere – but we did – Room was clean staff was so helpful. I needed a late checkout and was give until 2pm. That worked great. The bar happy hour – terrific – the restaurant food delicious and excellent table service.

No lobby. Average room. Clean room. Check in took a bit long. People behind the desk did not appear friendly although they were not hostile. A good place for one night. Close to Amtrak station. Good downtown location.

Mattress was soaked. Fresh sheets were put onto a soaked mattress after the roof leaked and the carpet was starting to mildew. Hotel was very run down and in need of a lot of maintenance.

Good quality hotel in downtown L.A. Good location if you have business in downtown, very reasonable parking rate (if you choose the valet parking package) and very comfortable bed and room. And on top of all this, this is one of the very few hotel in downtown that advertises honest, transparent nightly rates without slapping you with sneaky “resort fees” (or whatever creative names hotels find these days to inflate their rates) last minute before check-out. Just for this I will look for Hilton hotels in my future personal and business trips.

This hotel was excellent, everyone forgets that we’re in the middle of a pandemic so when you can go somewhere and get good food service and drink service, smiling faces, great hospitality and clean rooms you should be appreciative! They went above and beyond to accommodate our group, in addition to them having a bartender available to make us drinks while we watched the game in the lobby, they were always friendly and helpful and the room was amazing along with the view so I would highly recommend this hotel!

Rave, rave rave for this hotel in every aspect! From the moment that you check in the staff is focused on doing whatever they can to make an amazing experience. We put them to the test with a lost credit card and lost retainer and they went above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. The environment is fun and engaging and we even made life time friends. The food and the restaurant next door is also amazing! Can't wait to go back

Great rooms with comfy beds and (if you’re lucky like us) a beautiful view of the “Hollywood” sign on the mountain. The bathroom had plenty of counter space and great, bright lighting. The large lobby was a perfect meeting place for our large group, whether it was near the coffee/breakfast station in the morning or the bar in the evening. The surrounding area is pretty dead, but the hotel is walking distance from Little Tokyo and steps away from some great restaurants (if they’re open). Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this Westin hotel for one night during our trip to L.A. Checking in was quick and easy. Alberto at the front desk was extremely friendly and professional. We were given suite upgrade and complimentary breakfast as being a Marriott bonvoy elite member. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The only downside was the furnishing was a bit dated and the room was a bit small. The breakfast was very good with good variety and above average quality. Every staff we interacted with was very friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we won't hesitate to come back if we visit L.A. again. I knocked a star off for the dated furnishing in the room.

So I've been living here for almost a year now under the project room keys initiative and like any place that has his positives and its negative now if I was you come here as a regular guest and pay whatever they say pay the charges night I would expect there to be a little more freedom and perks as it is I'll pay anything so I'm very grateful to have been living here for a year for free

Unfortunately my car got broken into and what was an amazing experience turns out to be a terrible one. The hotel is beautiful and I still highly recommend it. I enjoyed the comfy bed, large room and free grab n go breakfast. They even have a nice soft robe in the room. The beautiful spa with steam room, sauna and hot tub was my fav. This place is so clean and well maintained. I’m very proud of how they’re keeping up this place just sad I now have to fix my car mirror and replace the things they took. Thankfully nothing too expensive just Christmas gifts. Please don’t leave anything in your car.

My son and his new wife had a wonderful rooftop ceremony here. The staff was amazing and courteous. We were able to stay the night in a clean, comfortable room. The blue room was eclectic and the food delicious. Kudos to the entire team! We felt like royalty the past 24 hours.

We attended a wedding here and stayed at the hotel. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The only downfall was that even after paying a lot for the hotel, we had to shell out an arm and a leg for parking, too

Astonishing lodging to remain! They have an amazing pool, clean water, incredible food, and a cool lager. Agreeable staff and they have a decent spa. I will visit and remain longer since I like the view before the room, which straightforwardly prompts the pool. The rooms are an incredible size, and a portion of the perspectives are stunning. You will not be frustrated!

This quaint Chinese themed plaza has a lot to offer. I frequent the pharmacy, Tai On and the USPS postal outlet. There is a well established salon and a small convenience shop with a stuffed moose head! Clean, friendly shops with interesting architecture. A Best Western Hotel anchors this charming plaza.

I enjoyed my stay.. room was clean and furnished just like the photos online. The only reason I didn't give a five star is because the shower head only trickled out water.. took forever to rinse. But that's it. The view from the room was nice could see the BLOC and downtown. Overall a really nice hotel.

Just stayed here for the weekend and it was excellent. You have an easy entrance. If you drive by on accident just circle around the block and you are back there. Check in was great and easy. Secure elevators are for guests with room keys.Many choices for eating and a Starbucks outside. Room was very cozy and clean. Bathroom and shower were great as well. If you don't want to drive the Metro station is downstairs. Scooters and bikes are there on many places to use as well.

Very basic and slightly dated decor q%@@ though. Vending machines for beverages as well as snacks is available in the common area, as well as a microwave available for the use of any and all guests. Otherwise satisfactory amenities available!

Guy at reservation was very helpful/ friendly as I arrived late night with my family. We rented 2 rooms. First negative things no elevators. Had to walk stairs with my luggage as I slept in the 2nd floor. There was alot of noise as we were next to the Hwy and next to the cocktail bar next door, too noise couldn't sleep well. Beds were too small and hard. The 2nd room tv cable wasn't working. Due to covid the restaurant was closed. Other than that it was a cheap place to stay and it was a somewhat comfortable place to stay for a one night.

Old 1920's building with 21st century type rooms. Had a very small room and don't know what the others are like, but this was just fine only staying 1 night. The elevators were a bit difficult to operate as you need your key card to run it and it's not easy to see where to tap your card the first time. Helped a couple others how it worked. Maybe if staff informed guests at check in. ? Don't expect a 5 star type room, it's not what this place is about. But overall very clean and comfortable. Would I recommend? Yes. FYI : Nothing to do with the hotel, but parking is very expensive at the lot next door and it's cash only. $40. Bring cash, the ATM charges a high fee.

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and wonderful hospitality. The staff were really nice and let us know about several restaurants in the area. We had a really nice view of universal studios! Close to the freeway but didn't hear any traffic. My husband and I LOVED this place! We will be booking with them again soon!

Very nice but pricey. Parking is via valet only and $52. The restaurant is lovely with a live pianist who was great. Wine by the glass was also $$. $25 for a glass of red blend. Rooms are clean and nicely laid out. Separate tub and shower. Very nice staff. Good central location to where we needed to be.

Had a great meal today at Bottega. We got a hamburger and a Cobb salad; which we shared. I adore well done, crispy fries and that is exactly what we got with the burger. The Cobb salad was really well done. I do not like heavy dressing and this salad was just right! We also got some croissants 🥐 to go! Can’t come here without a sweet to take home so we also bought a lemon tart. Can’t wait for dessert!!

Had a great lunch here in December. The food was creative and well made. The wine paired nicely. My server made a few mistakes, but she made up for it by being very friendly and attentive. Even the hostess was memorable for being so friendly and polite. Highly recommend Bottega for anyone looking for a nice lunch in downtown LA.

Sunday brunch here is great!! Our server Gary was awesome and took good care of us. We had called ahead for a group of 5 but there was still a bit of a wait when we got there. It was chilly out but they offered us a table outside. We took it and ordered our drinks out there. When he came back to take our food order he noticed we were cold and offered a table that had opened up inside. We took it and it was very cozy. It's a smaller restaurant but has a great atmosphere! I had a Bloody Mary and ordered the crab cake benedict, which is on their brunch menu. The food and drink were both delicious. I tried all of the stuff my friends ordered too and I want to go back and order everything! I had such a great experience here from the food to the drink to the service. I highly recommend it!

Great acoustics inside the concert hall of an otherwise weirdly constructed building. Way too few escalators and elevators to get up and down in the complex easily. I would never have given the building an ADA approval. On a personal note: there were always too few bar/drink stations on the various levels; now there are even fewer stations and the lines are longer during intermissions.

Fluxus events were fun, and we got to see every corner of the venue used creatively. Loved the emphasis on audience participation. 22 Jan 22 Ellington Sacred Concert wowed with tap dancing as a percussion instrument plus as choreography. Guest soloists/ensemble also special. Hope audiences can resume at full strength soon. It's nice to get out of the parking in 5 minutes, but a full house is even nicer.

This is my favorite destination in Los Angeles. The building itself is incredible. One of Frank Gehry's best architectural achievements. The roof top garden and the fountain made from Delft china, are a wonderful spot to get away in the afternoon. Inside you are surrounded by Douglas Fir clad walls. In the auditorium is a pipe organ like no other on the planet. Go to the LA PHIL website for the best ticket prices. There are no bad seats here. Easily accessible by public transportation. In the neighborhood are 2 museums and LA OPERA.

We’ve been coming to Sushi Gen for years. My husband loves the sashimi combination, and I always have the Gen roll. The service is always spectacular….the only problem I have is that the last several times we’ve been in, including yesterday, a sushi chef or the owner yells and hollers at the staff. This is incredibly unprofessional. It makes us feel sorry and bad for the workers! The poor girl that was our server was reduced to tears. We love the food but after yesterday I don’t know if we’ll be back.

They have a cafeteria called the Roybal Cafe. $5 minimum for all credit card purchases. But they do have Apple Pay. They also have an Espresso Bar cafe on the same level (lobby level).

I remember working there when it was getting remodeled. We did all the insulation there. There is a lot of history there. Very cool place. I remember seeing the old holding cells where a lot of famous murders were held.

The gentleman that helped me today in the office on East 4th place was so kind and helpful. I don't remember his name but he was a petite man, Asian with silver wire framed glasses and so kind I just really was touched by his helpfulness.

Fastest processing DPSS office in LA county. They serve the DTLA/Skid Row area so there's more volume to process than offices in say…. Santa Monica. Which were more interested in vetting applicants and putting you back to work. So this office has become proficient at processing large volumes of applicants. You're much less likely to get hassled here. *Rubber stamp* – NEXT! (Though probably more likely to be hassled by other applicants and clients. Park wisely and lock your doors. I second what someone else said about the security being a joke. In the middle of the afternoon I watched a guy walk up to a bicycle connected to a pole with a cable lock…pull the seat post out…twist the cable with it til it popped and ride away in broad daylight. Mere feet from the front door. In front of everyone in line. I notified security while it was in progress and he just shrugged.

I’ve been coming here for about 2.5 years. They have always been fast and prompt to the best of their ability. Always friendly and they do give you the assistance you qualify for. Try and get here 15 minutes before they open to avoid long lines
