This is an ok building but they search you too much. But other than that its cool. The building is very clean and the employees are very good at what they do and they are nice and respectful to everybody. I wish they had a store in here that would be awesome but other than that the bathrooms are clean. They take very good care of this building, and i bet some of these people have the most laid back positions.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. I was in and out of the SSA office in just 30 minutes, including the line to get through security. I highly recommend getting there when they first open to avoid the long wait times.

This is a Federal Installation ! Which means an Enchanced Security Check . All metallic objects removed & placed in the Containers . All bags are Electronically Scanned and a Walk-Thru Metal Detector ! Timely and worthwhile . I came to attend a Housing Workshop . Extremely , educational and definitely worth the time spent !

Pro tip: For tourists in the area stop in and check out the many photo ops locations inside & out. Check out the food court in the basement, lots of choices to choose from, just wish they have fewer chain restaurants and more local mom & pop options. We are a foodie town and the sections down here doesn't reflect it. The building design is a little weird, looks cool inside and specially the interior. Yet the color choices are terrible, whoever chose those colors are color blind.👍

I love my people and I desire their unity and mine back to their own free National and Divine standard because day by day they have been violating the national and constitutional laws of their government by claiming names and principles that are unconstitutional. If Italians, Greeks, English, Chinese, Japanese, Turks, and Arabians are forced to proclaim their free national name and religion before the constitutional government of the United States of America, it is no more than right that the law should be enforced upon all other Amer-I-can citizens alike. In all other governments when a man is born and raised there and asked for his nation-al descent name and if he fails to give it. He is misguided, imprisoned, or exiled. Any group of people that fail to answer up to the constitutional standards of law by name and principles, because to be a citizen of any government you must claim your national descent name, because they place their trust upon issue and names formed by their forefathers.

Wish I would’ve taken more pictures of JW Marriott but I was too busy enjoy myself, what a stunningly beautiful hotel! The rooms were so clean and gorgeous, comfy beds and very nice view, the pool was really nice and warm, and the gym was huge compared to other hotels this size. The spa looks really good but unfortunately I didn’t get to try it. The staff was absolutely phenomenal and professional. Valet parking was really fast and attentive JW Marriott Chicago is literally walking distance from the bean and other activities like restaurants and theaters. The food was beyond delicious at the restaurant inside the hotel. It was extremely delicious and fresh. I highly recommend checking them out.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a hotel. This site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. Comfortably-furnished room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and pandemic precautions were in place. On-site Italian restaurant served excellent cuisine delivered with exceptional service.

Recently stayed here for a girls trip. The hotel is beautiful. The area was a nicer area and we felt safe. There were many stores and restaurants around. We weren’t too far from anything. The rooms were so clean! The room was also very large which we appreciated being 4 girls in a room with large luggage. We never felt cramped. The indoor pool and hot tub was a nice addition. We enjoyed it! Security was very helpful. Staff was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel!

You stay here for the location. The staff are friendly, and for the location the price isn't crazy, but we stayed in a suite and were disappointed with the quality of the bathroom generally – it's really basic and dated, and there were no robes for the room. There was an iPad provided to use during your stay which seemed like a nice touch but it wouldn't hold charge so was pretty ineffective, one of the bathroom towels was ripped which you don't expect in a high end hotel, and there was no sugar at any of the coffee stations! We also didn't have a microwave in our room, which there was room for as we were in the suite that had a sink and mini fridge, so a microwave would have fitted no problem. The thing that was a bit annoying was that you can add parking to your hotel bill, but they charge $24/ night, but if we'd just paid the car park directly it's only $17/ night – If understand if there were guaranteed hotel spaces, but there aren't – it's all just first come first served public parking, so that seemed a bit rude! Still, it was clean, and comfortable, and the staff were lovely, so it's still a nice stay overall.

Stayed three nights with family during road trip. LOCATION: right near the Millennium park, perfect! PARKING: Hotel does not have own parking garage but used public parking place two blocks away. A bit uncomfortable but well it's in downtown Chicago so kinda expected it. It would be nice to have a Valet service though. CLEANLINESS: clean and maintained well. However, chairs in breakfast room were roughed up and require replacement or repair. BREAKFAST: Standard Hampton Inn – waffle, oat meal, sausage, scramble egg, sweet treats, toast, bagel, fruit, juice, etc. ROOM: Decent size double bed room. High ceiling makes room feel big. STAFF: this is where this place excel. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Two Thumbs up for the staff. Overall very good experience! Highly recommend it!

Very nice stay for 2 nights. We got very nice room facing the Monroe strt. The room has large windows where you can soak in the sunlight in the morning. Rooms were clean and large enough space. Breakfast was fine too. They have 2 computers and printers for business purpose, which was very helpful. Only issue I had is that if you want tap water then you need to come to the lobby floor, or else you have to buy bottles of water.

The building is beautiful, great spot, walking distance to many different attractions nearby, and the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom has been updated which is nice. The continental breakfast i would consider above average, they even have banana bread waffle batter! Parking is a little confusing but I gather that this is how pretty much every hotel in downtown chicago is.

I enjoyed my stay here. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The accomodations are very nice and there's plenty of room. The breakfast and dinner selections are pretty solid and so you'll be taken care of if you stick with room service as opposed to ordering in. The only tiny nit is that the bathroom door slides and is a little hard to open. Anyway, it's a great place to stay, and I would recommend.

Nothing else except for my tremendous appreciation for this lodging on the grounds that these folks are genuinely truly outstanding. The administrations they gave were truly remarkable, and each office in the hotel truly worked really hard. I would be regarded to prescribe their administrations to all. To be sure, a magnificent and agreeable spot to remain! Exceptionally stunning!

In the heart of downtown Chicago. Walking distance to public transportation (loop access less than a block, longer distance via standard rail access a couple of blocks away). Has an upgraded option to get a bed in a suite with a shower, bathroom, kitchen, and mini common room. My suite had an electric strove, but no burners attached, so keep that in mind if planning on attempting to cook. Open 24/7/365. Off hours require you to buzz in or use a suit/room card for access.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The room and bathroom were clean. No complaints about anything. I felt comfortable and safe during my stay. The staff (Lloyd, Makrand, the managers, and the other ladies) were very nice and helpful suggesting activities and giving directions. This was my first time visiting Chicago and I was celebrating a milestone birthday. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was my main reason for picking the hotel. The property far surpassed my expectations the room was appointed so well. Unbelievably quiet and extremely comfortable. The staff checking in and out were outstanding. A special shout-out to Enrique for holding on to our luggage for a few hours after checkout and recommending a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We will come back there.

Let me tell you that this hotel and staff has set the bar for every hotel I will ever stay in. This was, BY FAR, the best experience I have ever had! The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! Everything was clean and these beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in – even better than more expensive hotels we've been to. I will absolutely stay here every time I travel to Chicago. Also… I chose this hotel for the historical aspect which was equally impressive. So pretty.

No robes in rooms. You have to pay 25 is you want a dog stuffed animal like in the pictures. Its expensive. You can get better service somewhere else. The location is great though. It deleted my first comment from awhile ago. They charged me twice for the room so I had no spending money my vacation cause it was on hold. Also the sink in the bathroom would not drain. They didn't do anything about it. It took awhile to get my money back too.

Surprise! Clean and quite room that wasn't expensive! Pleasantly surprising. Take a nice stroll on over to Buckingham Fountain to enjoy the night air and breathtaking skyline view from Grant Park😁 Or walk a few blocks south on Michigan to Roosevelt and have some Aurelio's Pizza. Once you've retired to the modest accommodations you've taken up in this historic treasure, let the smooth familiar sounds of the Elevated Train cares you asleep. I think a hotel that has a dinner style restaurant serving traditional breakfast is a cut above. So don't worry, you are surrounded by delicious food in every direction😂😅! My kinda Town📍

Clean, comfy bed and great staff. Check-in went great but when I got to the room it was next to the elevator, I had a feeling this would be an issue for a light sleeper like me. As I tried to fall asleep I heard a sound like someone hitting the heat ducting in my house everytime the elevator moved. I called the front desk asking if I could be moved and within five minutes the person at the front desk was at my door with a new key. After I unpacked again I remembered my polo shirt was in the old room, I called the front desk asking how I could get back in the old room and again, within five minutes the security guard was at the door with a key to the old room so I could retrieve my shirt. I have never asked to changes rooms and have heard horror stories of when people ask at any hotel. This went the best it could have, great service. Unfortunately I do not remember the names of who helped.

An easy walk from Union Station to the hotel. Very clean hotel friendly and helpful front desk staff. My wife and I stayed here for two nights while attending two different stage performances and also took in some other holiday activities that were going on in the area. The breakfast during these COVID times was still more than we planned for, for a grab and go breakfast. The hotel room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

This was my first experience with The Blackstone and I really enjoyed it. Beautiful historic building, with very classic, sort of gentleman's club decor in the lobby mixed with some funky, statement type furniture. My room was a corner room with a city view…that meant that I was looking at the windows of other rooms in the same hotel on one side and downtown area on the other. To be honest, thanks to massive desk in front of it, I really couldn't enjoy that view, as you are still 4-5 feet away from the window. However the over all decor of the room was nice and modern. The bathroom was truly hotel shic beautiful, but not sure who designed the placement of the light switches, they are behind the door, so you have to walk in to the dark bathroom, walk around and at least partially close the door, and than try to find the switch in the dark. Weird set up, but I am nit-picking. I was not too impressed with a hotel staff. Not very helpful or overly nice/affectionate. They stayed professional but gave very sort of uninviting vibe, like they are doing what's expected of them, but please don't ask them for anything extra attitude. If not for that I would rate it at 5 stars. Friendliness, especially in a hospitality or any front facing customer oriented business goes a long way in my book and often covers other imperfections. This was the opposite, the beauty of the place made it for lacking in the staff department. Anyway, I will definitely stay here again, given the need, good price and just the love for the building.

I definitely enjoyed staying here for my birthday weekend to myself last week. From checking in to housekeeping being sweet and friendly(Kim was so sweet). I didn't have any problems with my stay expect I did get awaken by construction near by but it eventually stopped and I was fine. Love the view of my room and the beds are so comfortable. I did notice that there were no slippers like the app/website states which was fine and I brought my own water since I know COVID and things are closed so it didn't bother me. Will visit again!

The hotel rooms and facilities were nice and location historic, but the parking situation was non-functional – there is construction surrounding the off site garage. Normally this would be fine and temporary. However, the hotel staff didn't know how to properly assist guests with the validation system their hotel guarantees (multiple versions were explained, none of which worked correctly – and there didn't appear to be motivation to truly resolve the issue, which was the most disappointing part). I would recommend finding your own parking accommodations.

We had an overnight stay at the Allegro Royal Sonesta, and it was a wonderful time! The hotel is beautiful, with a classy art deco style. The lobby is spacious with many seating areas, a bar, and a lovely ballroom area that we got to peer into as there was a wedding going on during our stay. The employees were very enthusiastic and welcoming. The bellhop who greeted us was very kind and helpful, and Jacob at the front desk made sure we were taken care of throughout our entire stay. The room was nicely decorated to match the decor of the lobby and the beds were comfortable, though we needed to ask for more pillows, which the front desk sent up to us right away! Our view wasn't the greatest (office buildings and apartments), but we were able to see the El trains going by, which was neat, and it wasn't loud when we were trying to sleep. The hotel is in a great area – steps away from the Cadillac Palace and a Starbucks on the corner, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Walking distance from Daley Plaza and we were able to walk to Millennium Park and the Riverwalk, though it was a bit of a longer trek. Overall, our stay was amazing, and we were very pleased with the helpfulness of the staff and the proximity it gave us to so many great Chicago locations! If you plan to stay here, make sure to check out the pints of Ida B's ice cream available at the front desk – it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had and a great sweet treat to end the night!

What a beautiful place the lady at the front desk knows her stuff and was fantastic. I don't know where they found her but she is on the ball. No matter how busy she was she made sure that everyone was treated with respect and felt welcome. Close proximity to pretty much everything that is fun downtown. Love this hotel definitely will be returning.

Many things on room description were not there including coffee maker and toiletries. Ice machine on the floor was not working. And paying extra for better floor/room got us a dark space overlooking another building. Not to mention TV was old and cable, not as described or expected so couldn't watch anything on demand. All staff very friendly and responsive but the hotel does not match any of its description.

We stayed here recently for a huge youth volleyball tournament. The location is great as you are within walking distance of so many wonderful places to see and enjoy. The building's architecture is impressive and the staff was excellent. We checked in in the early hours of the morning and they were very helpful with whatever we needed. The text messages to see if everything was okay is a nice touch and we were able to get any needs we had responded to immediately. We look forward to our next visit to Chicago and plan to stay at this Hilton again.

Location, cleanliness, hospitality, beauty – this hotel checks every box for us. We have stayed at the Hilton Chicago several times and become more impressed each time. The rich history, the opulent beauty, and decor, the convenience, and the cleanliness are all reasons why we've returned to this hotel. We also love the availability of two-bathroom hotel rooms which are mega-convenient when traveling with teenagers!! We will definitely stay again on our frequent trips to Chicago and confidently recommend this hotel to others.

We really enjoyed our stay here over the weekend. Julius D at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. He was such a pleasure to meet and chat with. Our room was very nice, clean and quiet at night. The comfort food at the restaurant was pretty good and also had an enjoyable time at the lobby bar later in the evening. I didn't catch our waiter's name but he too was very friendly and attentive. We were able to reserve a time slot for the pool area that the kids enjoyed. Overall, very pleased with the hotel and would look to stay here again in the future.

Highly recommend! We stayed around Christmas time and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic – close to most things in the Loop and the Magnificent Mile. Right near the river. Staff is great – Carrie was so friendly and helpful at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our stay more pleasant. They also held our luggage while we were out in the city since we had a late flight out. Our room was quite large, especially for a big city hotel. We had an end room, which featured beautiful picture windows with great views.

Spent four fabulous day at Chicago and this hotel was perfect location to see all downtown Chicago. Victoria and Roland/Randolph ( my apologies for not remembering his name correctly) at the Front Desk were amazing! They gave me tips to scout around the city and also were very helpful when I needed something. Rooms were very clean and spacious. At the restaurant all servers were awesome! Special mention to Joel, great service. Breakfast was so delicious. I wish they can open the restaurant later, I could not find a restaurant near to get a bite after 10pm. Will Definitely recommend!

Awesome views. Even better service. The potato fries are simply magnificent. The drinks were excellent as well and they have plenty of options even if you don't imbibe. The prices are fair for the area and the atmosphere is really really cool.

Excellent weekend stay at this hotel. Rooms were large and well appointed, staff members were all extremely polite and helpful. Highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel too. Only downside was a below par shower/shower head but we would certainly stay here again as the location is prime.

Stayed a night to catch Frozen at Cadillac Theatre. Hotel was great, service was awesome, and the executive suit is perfect for families (upgraded due to status). The breakfast in the lounge was very convenient and the kids had a great time in the pool. I’d definitely stay here again. The city is on lockdown so it’s pretty dead everywhere, very eerie, and you better have your papers or you won’t get in anywhere.

My family and I were on a road trip to Chicago, so we ended up booking a room at this hotel. On the way here we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express at Ohio along the highway. The holiday inn at Ohio was great. Our family was comfortable and we had no complaints and we were on our way the next day to Chicago. When we arrived at the holiday inn in Chicago, the lady at the front desk was rude. Not professional. As my mother was checking in, someone behind us was waiting and the lady at the front desk said “Is there anything I can help you with sweetheart?”, and as soon as he went up to her, she said, “Can't you see I'm helping her (my mother)?” She seemed arrogant the whole time, even somewhat insulting my mother along the way. The whole hotel building is horrible. It's really old and doesn't seem clean, at least compared to the holiday inn beside the highway at Ohio. It was super crowded and the COVID-19 safety measures didn't seem to be enforced because there were many people without masks. The worst part was that the lady at the front desk gave us the wrong room, with the keycard that opens this room. My mother opened the door and walked in on the guests in this room, who were minding their own business. The owner of the room and my mother were both shocked and obviously, this is NOT OKAY. The lady at the front desk did not handle this professionally either. As my mother confronted her, she said she gave her the right room and that my mom was wrong, until my mom proved this with the card opening the door and the room that was written on the card. The other person got an apology but my mother didn't. But it wasn't even great on the other side with the actual owner of the room because she only offered free parking as compensation and seriously nothing more than one “I'm sorry”. He also ordered a king room, got a queen-sized bed, and paid the same price. The only excuse was that the hotel was under renovation. For a hotel that is in a major city, with a much higher price than that hotel in Ohio, the service and experience should have been the same, if not better! Renovations are no excuse. Renovations should not get in the way of friendly staff and a safe environment. That situation with the hotel room could've been worse and either way, worse or not, that situation was preventable. I only hope that this hotel just gets better service and the lady at the front desk gets held accountable.

Lobby is quite quaint. However, the room was amazingly HUGE! Definitely one of the most spacious hotels we've been in, and could've done some tumbling/gymnastics and held our 6 kids too. Bathroom, hot water and pressure were on point. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place! 🔥 💪🏾 💯 ❤️

Our stay at the Kimpton Monaco Hotel was flawless. Everyone was nice, friendly and professional. They served complimentary wine, tea and coffee from 5pm to 6pm daily. The meals in the restaurant were delicious. The room was very clean with a beautiful Riverwalk view. Antonio and Hector were the best.. They were so knowledgeable about downtown Chicago and helped us safely get to our destinations throughout our stay. We can't wait to return.

I can't say enough good about this hotel! From the moment I arrived I was greeted with a happy birthday! When arriving in the beautiful room there was a birthday note and bottle of wine waiting for me. The doorman Hector was so friendly and so personable he invested time to make sure we were comfortable and well informed about the local eateries and places we needed to go. Mark and Sonia at the front desk were so fun and friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them. The evening complimentary wine and cider was a highlight of our evenings. The icing on the cake was Antonio the doorman, he's a staple for the hotel and even has a craft drink named after him that you can purchase. Antonio was charming, friendly and so fun to get to know. When it found out it was my birthday had a bottle of prosecco sent to the room. We were treated like family and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. You will not be disappointed.

Hard to choose between 3 and 4 stars. Clean Hotel, great staff, great location, great price. Lots of city noise gets in and LOTS of small repairs needed. We got a suite, King bed and sofa for $117, booked 2 weeks in advance. Bed was large and comfortable. Everything we saw was clean. The staff were very helpful. We paid for valet, the valet team did a great job of getting our car for us quickly each time we needed it. Plenty of awesome stuff walking distance away. Gave us a bag breakfast, bagel or muffin choice. We thought we got what we expected at this price point. City noises from the street, dog park, and another buildings fire alarm filled the room all day and night. The doors slam loud and if you are close to the elevator you can hear it. The TV was able to drown out most of it. We did have to call to get a TV remote and the staff got it to us fast. The valve to switch from filling the tub to the shower head wouldn’t go fully to the shower head. I was able to shower about 5 or 10 minutes before the water got above my ankles. Water was PLENTY warm, temperature stayed consistent, but it seemed possible to turn it too far and maybe get burned. We had two AC units in the room. On one of them, the wooden frame around it was loose. Every time it turned on it would rattle LOUD. We put the room safe on the frame and that stopped the rattling. Also the safe didn’t have batteries.

I came to this hotel for my buddy's birthday. We planned a whole weekend in Chicago. We're from Michigan. To our dismay, you are required to have your vaccination card to go to ANY restaurant or bar. We are vaccinated, but left our cards in Michigan. So our plans for his birthday are ruined. Had we known this, we would've brought our cards. I wish someone would've told us. But the hotel was very nice.

The hotel was super clean and very modern! The staff was very nice and helpful! View is amazing and the rooms were the biggest rooms I’ve stayed in, in the many times I’ve been to Chicago! This hotel is my go-to for any Chicago trip. We are impressed every single time! Also, we noticed that Chicago fire was filming a scene at the hotel which was VERY COOL! My sisters got to meet the cast and take a few pics. Thanks to Brittany our new friend, she helped make it happen! Highly recommend this hotel!

The lobby and corner room were great. The view as excellent. The bed and pillows made for a restful sleep. It was hard to get out of bed. Their parking garage and restaurant were closed – since covid but are advertised on the website. We were able to use the parking next door ($53/day, cash only. Door Dash wasn't the same as getting dressed and going out for dinner. (Lost a star)

A perfect hotel! Perfectly positioned for shopping on Michigan Avenue, going to Millennium Park, or taking a river walk tour. Had an issue with my room when I arrived (wasn’t a big deal, just a missing pullout sofa), but they upgraded me fantastically! Could not be happier and will definitely come back!
